Download the latest version of PartSmart!


Important

  • This method is not recommended for users without high speed internet access.
  • This install should not be run on Client machines – only Servers or Stand Alone machines.
  • Client machines must be out of PartSmart while this install takes place.

PartSmart Download Instructions

If you have already installed a version of PartSmart, follow these instructions:
  • Step 1. To update an existing installation of PartSmart, click on this link: Get PS8.7A.
  • Step 2. Your browser will open a window asking you to Save or Run (or Cancel). Select Save. (This will download the install program to your machine) Be sure to note the directory where the file is saved. The default will be the Desktop.
  • Step 3. Double click on the file called PartSmart_8.7.20_AppWeb.exe on your desktop. If you are asked to verify the publisher, select Run.
If you have NOT installed a version of PartSmart, follow these instructions:
  • Step 1. To install PartSmart on a machine where it has not been installed before, click on this link: Get PS8.7F.
  • Step 2. Your browser will open a window asking you to Save or Run (or Cancel). Select Save. (This will download the install program to your machine) Be sure to note the directory where the file is saved. The default will be the Desktop.
  • Step 3. Double click on the file called PartSmart_8.7.20_Full.exe on your desktop. If you are asked to verify the publisher, select Run.

Follow the prompts for the install which should update the version of the PartSmart application on the machine to version 8.7.20.

License Key: You should not need to supply a license key during the install. If, however, the license key you are using has expired, you will be prompted to enter a new key when you launch PartSmart or select a manufacturer catalog that has expired.
